About
How I got here
I spent more than a decade in high-pressure work, the kind where the cost lands in your body some years after the fact. Mine arrived as PTSD and chronic pain. For a long while I did what most people do about it, which is push harder and hope.
What eventually helped was not insight. It was slow, boring, physical attention: learning what my own nervous system actually did under pressure, rather than what I assumed it did. That is the work I trained in and the work I do with people now.

How I work
Slow is fast here, and small is big. I would rather spend a whole hour on one thing you can actually stay with than move through five you cannot.
Everything is an invitation. If I suggest noticing your breath and the answer is no, that is a real answer. I will interrupt you sometimes to ask what your body is doing while you talk, which is how you leave steadier than you came in rather than wrung out.
If you turn up numb, or flat, or not sure you feel anything at all, that is a place to start, not a failure to start.
Training
Where the training came from
All three are from private training organisations. None of them is a state licence. I am not a licensed medical or mental-health provider, and what I offer is coaching and guided practice rather than psychotherapy or medical care.

A few things about me
- I know an unreasonable amount about the Titanic. Ask me anything.
- I blend my own fragrances, mostly badly, occasionally not.
- I read software release notes for fun, which I am told is unusual.
